Click to view larger size This is my high school football picture. I did not play my senior year because boxing took up a lot of my time. I wasn't a very good football player and never really enjoyed playing, but I did have a great hairdo - don't you think?
This photo was taken in 1983 at a high school beauty contest near Tupelo. I was singing "Three Times a Lady". I thought I was Cool. This was my afro phase; I was completely clueless!

This is my National Guard boot camp photo. I was in the guard for 6 years. The reason the photo is scratched is because my girlfriend threw it at me in 1985 after an argument. I am no longer with that same girl.

Click to view larger size This is me when I won the Mid South Middle Weight Championship in 1987. This title was nothing like a world title, but it was truly a happy night! I defeated Know Brown in 12 rounds. The fight was at the New Daisy Theater on Beale Street in Memphis.

This is the first band I ever played in, "The White Tornadoes". The guy with the beard is Truman Carter, a guy I worked with at Peoploungers (a chair factory). He is now a policeman. The guy in the plaid jacket is James West. James drives a sweeper truck that sweeps mall parking lots around Tupelo. The guy with the cowboy belt buckle is David Parker, who now works at the court house in Tupelo. We played only one gig as a band, opening for the country group Shenandoah at the Civic Center in Tupelo in 1989. The opening act was supposed to be Garth Brooks, but the promoters decided to use us instead because no one had ever heard of Garth.

Click to view larger size I enjoy sky diving. I had my first jump in Eutaw, Alabama. I am a member of the Bama Sky Divers. I love to jump because its scary and fun at the same time. I have made 160 Jumps. The reason my face looks distorted is, I am falling toward the earth at 120 mph. This particular jump was made from 12,000 feet.
